Meet the Team

I oversee clinical operations at Schulz Orthodontics, along with assisting Dr. Schulz with different orthodontic procedures. Getting to know our patients and seeing the transformation of each person’s smile is deeply fulfilling. I’m lucky to experience it every day!

I joined the practice after completing the Dental Assisting Program at Northwestern Michigan College in 2004. I love being part of a team that feels like family, supporting and lifting each other up as we provide a great experience to our patients!

My husband Thomas and I have been married since 2009. We have a daughter, son, and two fur babies. Our family loves adventuring together, especially camping and Jeeping.

I meet with patients and families as they start the orthodontic journey, reviewing what treatment involves and what they need to do for a successful outcome. In addition to coordinating patient financials, I also work behind the scenes, handling the accounting, insurance claims, and patient accounts. I like meeting people as they begin treatment and seeing how a new smile gives them more confidence!

I have a business degree, as well as an Associate’s degree in Applied Science, and have worked with Dr. Schulz since 2000. Most of our team has worked together for a long time and we’ve become a family. We all support one another as we create great smiles!

I’ve lived in Traverse City for almost 25 years and have a daughter, Meghan, along with a fur baby, Panda, who is a Great Pyrenees and Border Collie mix. Before settling down in Traverse City, I spent time living in the Middle East and traveling to the far corners of the world. I am a collector of hobbies: my current interests include remodeling my home and gardening projects.

I have the pleasure of meeting patients at the start of treatment. Overseeing the new patient exam, I educate patients and parents about orthodontics, review treatment options, and answer their questions. I love getting to know new people every day and building a relationship with them throughout their time with us. Seeing those beautiful smiles, and the happy confidence we create, is wonderful!

I have an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and was welcomed to Schulz Orthodontics in 2012. Our team has become my family and I enjoy working every day with them, as we create the best smiles!

My husband, Brandon, was my high school sweetheart. We have two beautiful daughters, Alivia and Adeline, and our family enjoys time outdoors, as well as being with friends and loved ones.

As an orthodontic assistant, I perform clinical procedures, assist Dr. Schulz, and take patient records. I like connecting with our patients, seeing each person’s progress during treatment, and sharing in their excited, beautiful smiles in the end!

A Registered Dental Assistant, I joined Schulz Orthodontics in 2012. I’m so glad to be part of a team that can have fun while still providing excellent service!

When not at work, my family and I enjoy being outdoors, especially hiking, exploring, and visiting new places. Closer to home, I enjoy cooking and am an avid reader.

I work in the Schulz Orthodontics clinic, assisting with orthodontic procedures, taking records, and delivering appliances. I love getting to know all of our amazing patients and watching the creation of beautiful smiles!

I studied Applied Science and Liberal Arts at Delta College and obtained my Registered Dental Assistant license through Northwestern Michigan College in 2008. After a brief time working in general dentistry, I joined our team in 2009 and realized my true love of orthodontics. We are a group of people who are lots of fun, and Dr. Schulz ensures every smile is the best it can be!

I am married to the love of my life, Dr. Schulz, and we have three beautiful children, plus a dog and a cat. I love to exercise, especially HIT workouts, and equally love to walk, boat, and camp in Northern Michigan in the summer. Cooking is another passion: I enjoy learning about and experimenting with different cultural foods.

My days are spent in the clinic, where I assist Dr. Schulz and my teammates with clinical procedures and take patient records. I enjoy my work, as I get to know a wide variety of people, educate each throughout treatment, and help them reach a perfect smile!

My days spent in the clinic include assisting Dr. Schulz & my teammates during clinical procedures. I provide patient education on a daily basis while getting to know each patient on a personal level. Being able to learn new things from the team has allowed me to provide the best care possible. I find my work very rewarding as I get to watch patient smiles transform throughout their treatment!

As an Orthodontic Assistant, I work alongside Dr. Schulz to apply braces and perform orthodontic adjustments. I take great joy in watching the transformation of our patient’s smiles throughout their treatment.

I started working in Periodontics in 2020 and transferred over to Orthodontics in 2023! In the future, I plan on perusing a degree in Dental Hygiene.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, as well as hiking, snowboarding, and traveling.

At the office I assist Dr. Schulz in orthodontic procedures. I enjoy working together with my team transforming our patients’ smiles. I’ve always been interested in working in the Dental field. I started my first internship at a General Dentistry in 2020, and since then, I have wanted to expand my knowledge in Orthodontics. In my free time, you can find me with my dog Wylie. I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family and friends.
